Hall of Fame
Steve Westley was a rarely seen four-sport athlete at Alvernia. His focus was basketball, but he was also a member of the baseball, golf, and tennis teams. Westley, who is commonly referred to as the first "Big Man" at Alvernia, entered the Hall seventh on the career scoring list with 1,547 points. He was named First Team All-Keystone Athletic Conference in 1981 and was First Team NAIA in 1983 and Second Team NAIA in 1980. Westley also served the institution as the President of the Alumni Board for three years.
