Todd Meyer left a lasting impression on the baseball record books in his four-year career at Alvernia.  He remains in the top 5 in nine career offensive stats including first in homeruns, RBIs, and slugging percentage.  After hitting one homerun as a freshman, in a season they used wood bats, he went on to hit 62 more over the next three years and leads second place on the career list by 19.  He hit 25 home runs his senior year including a homerun cycle in a win over Wilmington College.  For his efforts in his senior year he was named the Division III National Player of the Year and invited to participate in the All-Division college homerun derby at the Division I World Series that summer in Omaha.

Meyer is sixth in career wins, fourth in both complete games and shutouts and the career leader in strikeouts with 260.  The summer after his senior year he was signed by the Montreal Expos and spent three seasons in their minor league farm system, mainly as a relief pitcher.
