Ray Strickland

Ray Strickland was a two-time All-Pennsylvania Athletic Conference performer.  He holds the single season record at Alvernia for free throws made and attempted and the single game record for rebounds with 21.  He is on the top 10 career list in 12 different categories.
 
Strickland's Crusaders played in two ECAC Tournaments and made two NCAA appearances.  In those two appearances, the Crusaders won a pair of home games, a 76-67 win over Ithaca in 2002 and a 58-53 win over Mary Washington in 2003.
 
After school Strickland played four years of professional basketball in the American Basketball Association, the Premier Basketball League, and in Europe in the Portuguese League.
 
He earned his Masters Degree in School Counseling from Wilmington University in 2011.  He helped establish FiDonce United Community Counseling, a mentoring program to advocate for at risk youths in the Pennsylvania Tri-state area.
 
He currently works as a Director of Operations for Camelot Education, one of the countries largest Alternative Education providers.  He serves as the Director of Beechnut Academy in Houston, Texas.  He also works for the Arete Sports Agency, managing players currently in the NBA and playing overseas.
